Just like Prince Alfonso said: “Paradise is a blend of privacy and gardens” and Marbella Club Hotel truly is a paradise!

We have asked the Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Julian Cabanillas, “our” five questions regarding Marbella Club Hotel:

1. Marbella Club Hotel in 160 characters?

A seamless blend of old world glamour and contemporary elegance, the Southern Mediterranean retreat offers luxurious 37 guest rooms, 78 suites and 14 villas spread throughout 60-year-old subtropical gardens. Six stupendous restaurants and bars, Thalasso Spa and wellness programme, private 18-hole golf course, exceptional kids club, fitness centre and riding stables make the Marbella Club one of Spain’s most celebrated resorts.

2. What is the highlight that makes Marbella Club Hotel a PRIME ESCAPE?

Our illustrious history, beachfront location, five star facilities and amenities make Marbella Club a PRIME ESCAPE.  However, it is our high level of service and genuine Spanish warmth that truly sets us apart. Guests often tell us that they feel ‘at home’ at the Marbella Club.  We have families who have returned for generations.

3. What’s the best time of the year to travel?

We are fortunate, as the Marbella Club is a four-season resort destination.  Every season brings special nuances and characteristics – the best time of year really depends on your own individual taste. Personally, I love Marbella in the spring and autumn (April, May, September and October).  The weather is absolutely magnificent and the beaches are quiet. It is the ideal time to enjoy all that Marbella has to offer without the crowds. If you are a sports enthusiast like myself, this is the perfect time to go paddle boarding, mountain biking, kite surfing and hiking (La Concha is one of the most hiked and breath taking mountains in Andalusia). If you would like to take in some of the cultural sites, ask our concierge about our MC Experiences. We offer everything from authentic Andalusian cookery classes to tapas tours to Donkey rides through the Genal Valley.

4. What’s your favourite room – where would you love to stay as your own guest?

As a guest, I would enjoy staying in one of our three bedroom villas. They are just ideal for family and friend getaways. Our villas were recently refurbished in a contemporary Mediterranean style. You feel like you are staying in grand Andalusian home, but with all the service and amenities of the Marbella Club. The bathrooms are large with deep soaking tubs and rain showers and private hammams. You have your own kitchen, garden, dining terrace and pool. What really stands out, are all the small intricate details throughout the villa – the Spanish tiles, delicate pottery and artwork.

5. What’s your favourite spot in Marbella Club Hotel?

That really depends on my mood. The Beach Club is the idea place to spend an afternoon with good company and incredible food.  However, if you catch me on a particularly busy day, I would have to say that our Thalasso Spa is my favourite place in the hotel. Our Thalassotherapy circuit is bar none… you can actually feel the tension melt away.

Take your kids to their unique kids club - a childrens' paradise.
